WHAT DOES AN EVENT PLANNER DO?  Why do I need One?
The average event takes anywhere from 40 to 250 hours to plan (that can mean up to seven full work weeks!)  A Coordinator can save you time spent researching and planning and can also help you prioritize your vendors, get your budget in order, provide qualified vendor referrals, accompany you to vendor meetings and know what questions to ask, review vendor contracts, negotiate on your behalf, and save you money.  Not to mention a Coordinator provides creative décor and design ideas!  That final month prior to your affair, a Coordinator will confirm your vendors, make a timeline, run your rehearsal, and be there to make sure that you, your family, and friends enjoy a totally stress-free day!

I AM ALREADY WORKING WITH A CATERING MANAGER AT MY VENUE. WHY DO I NEED YOUR HELP?
Catering Managers at hotels or venues typically have the job of overseeing the details that are directly related to the venue (and sometimes the food and beverage as well).  It is not in their job description to confirm your vendors, run your rehearsal (if the event calls for one), oversee vendors, and make sure all of the day’s events are running according to schedule.  As professional  Coordinators, our services supplement the services offered by your Catering Manager, Banquet Manager & Staff, and other vendors.
HOW CAN I DETERMINE WHICH COORDINATION “PACKAGE” I NEED? WHAT IF I DON’T SEE EXACTLY WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IN ONE OF YOUR PACKAGES?
No worries!  We are here to help.  Once we are in touch with you, we will ask a few questions in order to learn more about your upcoming event.  Then, we are happy to meet with you for a consultation.  At the consultation we will discuss your event and coordination needs, as well as answer any other questions you have.  After learning more about your needs, we will determine if a certain package is a good fit, or we will customize something to meet your needs.
I am planning a destination wedding/Event, can you help me?
Of course we can!  In fact, we work with clients who live all over the world.  We are very comfortable with out-of-city/state/country clients and communicating via phone, e-mail, and Skype.
Will I lose control of my own Event after hiring a Coordinator?
Definitely not!  Your event is YOUR event.  We are there to help and guide you through the planning process, not to take over.  We will give you as much or as little help as you want.  We believe in fun and stress-free events for everyone involved!

One of our favorite parts of our job is working with our clients to brainstorm and create whatever is necessary to make their event extra-special and tailored to their personalities, likes, and desires. How far in advance should clients book your services?
The more time we have, the better.  But we also know, sometimes time is a luxury you don't have.  We always welcome our clients to inquire, no matter how close the date of their event.  If we are available, we will be there for you!
Do you have experience working with any specific cultures or religions?
Copperlight  Live is happy to work with all clients from all walks of life.  We heartily celebrate diversity and consider our organization a safe space.  We have had the privilege of coordinating (and ordaining) gay/lesbian weddings as well as mixed cultural affairs.  Our company has also planned events for those of Jewish, Christian, Indian, Muslim, Wiccan, and secular belief systems.  We are also happy to help produce any eco-friendly or vegan event.
What size events do you do?
​Our experts have organized and executed events from an intimate dinner for two to weddings of 400 guests.  Our corporate events have been known to have well over 2,000 in attendance.  We are happy to accommodate to any size group.
